Alannah Waller

Alannah is a newly Registered Massage Therapist who started her education at Wilfrid Laurier University in Kinesiology. She has recently graduated from Ontario College of Health and Technology where she completed her Massage Therapy diploma. As an athlete she knows the importance of injury prevention, management, and recovery. She aims to make your individual daily life easier whether it be relaxation, injury prevention/recovery or chronic pain management.

Alannah is an Owen Sound local who has recently moved back to the area. She has won two provincial gymnastics championships and was also a competitive dancer. She received treatment from many health professionals throughout her sport career, including massage therapy and has experienced first-hand the impact of proper recovery and self-care. She looks forward to continuing education opportunities and to adding more techniques to her therapist tool belt.

Treatment Style: Alannah enjoys incorporating many styles into her treatments including myofascial release, General Swedish Massage, joint play and stretching.

My Philosophy: Live every day to its fullest. You only have one body and one life so make sure you take care of it.

Core Values: Empathy, Integrity and Perseverance

Key to Successful Recovery: The key to a successful recovery is looking at the big picture. Just because you feel the pain in one location does not mean that is the key issue. Sometimes pain is a result of postural imbalances and refers to other areas.

Modalities I offer in Clinic: General Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Stretching, and good understanding of mechanism of injury.
